A special NIA court in Chhattisgarh's Bastar district convicted all 10 accused in the 2013 Jhiram Valley Maoist attack, which killed 29 people, including senior Congress leaders. Maoists ambushed the Congress Parivartan Rally convoy on May 25, 2013. The court reserved sentencing for September 16, while the defence said it would appeal the verdict.
