The "Toxic" team shot the English version alongside Kannada, with Lionsgate joining KVN Productions for distribution. However, it skipped a simultaneous release. After a poor first week and mixed reviews, the makers announced the English cut will release in select theatres on September 4. Surprisingly, it will be shorter than the original 3-hour-14-minute version.
