Subhash Case: NCLAT To Hear 99.97% Haircut Plea Today

The NCLAT is set to hear an appeal today, Sept 1, challenging the NCLT's approval of a repayment plan for Essel Group founder Subhash Chandra that involves a 99.97% haircut for creditors. LIC Housing Finance, Canara Bank and Union Bank of India are among those opposing the plan. Solicitor General Tushar Mehta is representing the creditors in the case.
