The Supreme Court today directed former Tehelka editor Tarun Tejpal to surrender within two weeks, rejecting his plea for exemption pending his appeal against conviction and a 10-year jail sentence in the 2013 sexual assault case. Justice Alok Aradhe ordered him to submit a surrender certificate, with the appeal to be listed on September 22.
