The BMC began demolishing unauthorised alterations inside flats at Mumbai’s Rustomjee Crown after complaints about illegal construction and misuse of common spaces. The civic body said 128 notices had earlier been issued. Teams demolished unauthorised portions in three flats under police protection, with action expected to continue in the coming days.
