A man allegedly stabbed his wife to death during a fight at their home in West Bengal's Jalpaiguri before consuming pesticide and surrendering at a police station. Jahangir Alam's mother was also injured while trying to intervene. Police arrested him and are investigating the motive. The couple had been married for three years and has a young son.
