Police constable Mohammad Sharif has been dismissed over the murder of a couple in Suryapet’s Mothey mandal. The victims, Halavath Nagulu and his wife Buba, were allegedly killed over a Rs 3 lakh loan dispute. Police invoked the SC/ST Act and arrested another accused. Investigators cracked the case within 24 hours using CCTV and technical evidence.
