Odisha Flood Situation Eases As River Levels Fall

Odisha’s flood situation improved today as water levels in major rivers fell below danger marks after little rainfall in the past 48 hours. Balasore remained the worst-hit district, with around 100 villages still flooded. Over 13 lakh people have been affected across six districts, while nearly five lakh people have been evacuated.
