A fire broke out in the basement of Mumbai’s Income Tax building this afternoon. Firefighters reached the spot and began controlling the blaze. No injuries were reported. Earlier, a fire broke out at a four-storey commercial building in Kandivali, where firefighters rescued 11 people. The causes of both fires are under investigation.
