The opposition BRS has called for statewide protests today against the Telangana Congress govt's stance on the Kalyana Lakshmi and Shaadi Mubarak schemes. BRS working president KT Rama Rao questioned the govt's failure to file a counter-affidavit despite 4 High Court extensions. He alleged plans to scrap the schemes and urged party workers to expose the issue.
