Commercial flights will begin from Andhra Pradesh’s new Bhogapuram airport at midnight on August 17, replacing Visakhapatnam Airport for regular services. Around 31 flights will operate on the 1st day to cities including Hyd, Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru. The airport can handle 6 million passengers annually in its first phase and will boost regional growth.
