Two people were injured when a passenger’s pistol went off during a weapons check at Varanasi airport on Sunday. The passenger was travelling with his wife to Mumbai on an Air India flight. A woman staff member suffered a thigh injury, while a male worker hurt his hand. Both injured workers are stable and receiving treatment.
