Devdutt Padikkal produced a memorable performance against Sri Lanka, smashing an unbeaten 131 to register a Test century on Independence Day. He became the 2nd Indian batter to score an international hundred on Aug 15 and the first to accomplish the feat in Tests. Kohli remains the only Indian batter to score centuries on both Independence and Republic Day.
