The Calcutta High Court has deferred cricketer Abishek Porel’s case hearing to Sept 14 after the West Bengal govt sought more time for investigation. Porel was arrested following a medical student’s complaint alleging sexual assault, abuse and threats. Police are continuing the probe, while another accused, reportedly his friend, remains unarrested.
