Telangana Plans Homestay Scheme To Boost Tourism

Telangana plans a homestay scheme allowing homeowners to host tourists and earn extra income. Houses, heritage homes, rural, tribal and residential properties can qualify, while hotels and resorts are excluded. Registered homestays will get certificates and tourism promotion. The scheme aims to create jobs and promote local food, culture, handicrafts and tourism.
