The Delhi High Court said a woman’s choice to wear jeans is a personal matter and cannot justify harassment. The court convicted Sajid Ali for sexually harassing and stalking a woman. Justice Sudha said clothing, religion or local customs cannot excuse unlawful behaviour and urged courts to prevent humiliating questions during cross-examination.
