The Bombay High Court sentenced former Tehelka editor Tarun Tejpal to 10 years of rigorous imprisonment after convicting him in the 2013 rape case involving a former colleague. The court overturned his 2021 acquittal and directed him to surrender within two weeks. Tejpal said he will appeal the conviction and sentence in the Supreme Court.
