August 6 marks the birth anniversary of Professor Kothapalli Jayashankar and death anniversary of Gummadi Vittal Rao, known as Gaddar. Jayashankar, born in 1934, provided ideological direction to the separate Telangana movement. Gaddar, born in 1949, became a powerful voice for justice and people's rights, performances to inspire generations, and died in 2023.
