Goa Cracks Down On Littering And Beach Misconduct

Goa has introduced stricter tourism rules, with fines of up to ₹1 lakh for 19 violations. Offences include littering, drinking alcohol in public, unauthorized beach parties, cooking on beaches, creating noise, damaging public property and other activities that harm the environment or disturb public order. The rules aim to promote responsible tourism.
