Kerala Chief Minister V D Satheesan visited flood-hit areas and said the government plans an AI-based disaster warning system to predict sudden climate changes. The pilot project will begin in Pathanamthitta. He also promised faster river desilting, saying neglected rivers worsened recent floods caused by heavy rainfall and landslides.
