Brent crude prices remained below $85 a barrel today, August 4, recovering slightly after a sharp 7% decline in the previous session. Brent futures rose 0.7% to $84.39 per barrel after hitting a three-week low. Meanwhile, US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude also gained 0.7% to $80.95, rebounding from a more than 5% drop in earlier trading.
