TG Govt Set to Roll Out ATM-Style Smart Ration Cards

The Telangana Civil Supplies Dept has completed preparations to replace decade-old paper ration cards with durable PVC smart ration cards featuring enhanced security. The ATM-sized cards have already been dispatched to districts. Distribution will begin through fair price shop dealers once the state govt issues the final implementation rules for the rollout.
