The RBI's concessional swap facility attracted $40.82 billion in forex inflows by July-end, mainly through FCNR(B) deposits ($36.73 billion). Overseas borrowings and ECBs contributed the rest. The facility, operational from June 8, aims to boost external sector liquidity. The swap window for FCNR deposits remains open until September 30, 2026.
