Telangana Hikes Ex Gratia For Electrocution Deaths

TGSPDCL has increased the ex gratia for electrocution deaths from Rs 5 lakh to Rs 8 lakh. The revised compensation applies to deaths reported from April 1, 2026. Legal heirs will receive Rs 7.2 lakh as a fixed deposit and Rs 80,000 in cash. Compensation for cattle, goats, and sheep remains unchanged under the existing policy.
