The govt informed Parliament that no abnormality was found in the fuel control switch locking mechanism of the Air India AI-171 aircraft that crashed last year. Minister Murlidhar Mohol said OEM tests found no defects, while the inspection of the Thrust Control Module is ongoing. The AAIB probe is in final stages, with the report to be released after completion.
