Mekedatu Row: CM Vijay Seeks PM Modi's Intervention

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Joseph Vijay has written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, urging the Central govt to protect the interests of lower riparian states in the proposed Mekedatu project. Citing the Supreme Court's 2018 judgment and a Union minister's Rajya Sabha reply, he also sought careful consideration before moving forward with the project.
