Valluri Ajaya Babu produced a stellar effort to win silver in the men’s 79kg weightlifting at the Commonwealth Games with a total of 330kg. The 21-year-old set a Games record in snatch and briefly in clean and jerk. Malaysia's Erry Hidayat Muhammad clinched gold with 331kg, while England's Chris Murray took bronze in a thrilling contest.
