India’s sub-junior men’s hockey team became Asian champions after defeating Pakistan 3-1 in the FIH Youth Hockey5s Asian Championship final. Romit Pal, Ketan Kushwaha and Shahrukh Ali scored for India. The women’s team secured a silver medal after a close loss to China. Both teams also qualified for the first FIH Youth Hockey5s World Cup.
