If We’re Foreign-Funded, Why Talk to Us? Asks CJP

CJP spokesperson Sourav Das rejected claims that the protest was backed by foreign funding. He questioned why the government was holding talks with activist Sonam Wangchuk and the protesting students if such allegations were true. Das said the claims were misleading and urged the government to focus on addressing students’ concerns.
