Union Minister JP Nadda said he requested Sonam Wangchuk to end his hunger strike during a hospital visit. He said the Centre will respond to Wangchuk's open letter and continue discussions. Wangchuk said he would end his fast only after receiving a clear assurance that no legal action will be taken against protesting students and youth.
