The Centre said nearly 89% of reserved railway tickets were booked online between June 2025 and June 2026. Indian Railways' RailOne app has crossed 4.55 crore downloads and now handles over 9.6 lakh ticket bookings daily. The government also introduced Aadhaar-based checks and stronger cybersecurity to make ticket booking safer and more transparent.
