Actress Pooja Hegde's screen time in 'Jana Nayagan' has been reduced, director H. Vinoth confirmed. He said several of her scenes were removed to improve the film's pace and keep the main focus on Vijay and the central story. Pooja plays a journalist in the film, which also features Bobby Deol and Mamitha Baiju in important roles.
