Director Mani Ratnam will begin shooting his new film with Vijay Sethupathi and Sai Pallavi in Kolkata from tomorrow. Netflix has already bought the film's digital rights before filming started. Produced by Madras Talkies, Lyca Productions and India Talkies, the movie will feature music by A.R. Rahman and marks Sai Pallavi's first film with Mani Ratnam.
