The Amarnath Yatra was suspended from today on the Pahalgam and Baltal routes after heavy rain was forecast in Jammu and Kashmir. More than 3.7 lakh pilgrims have visited the holy shrine so far. Officials warned of possible landslides and flash floods, while schools' summer holidays were extended until July 22 to ensure everyone's safety.
