The 72nd National Film Awards were announced on July 18. Rajkummar Rao's film Srikanth, directed by Tushar Hiranandani, won the Best Hindi Feature Film honour. The awards, India's highest cinematic recognition, were selected by an 11-member jury led by filmmaker Jayaraj for films certified between January and December 2024.
