PM Modi To Launch India's 1st Hydrogen Train Today

India is set to launch its first indigenously developed hydrogen-powered passenger train today from Jind, Haryana, inaugurated by Prime Minister Modi. Operating on the Jind-Sonipat route, it uses hydrogen fuel cells, emitting only water and heat. With a 1,200 kW system, 10 coaches, and 75 kmph speed, it marks a major step in sustainable rail transport.
