Former England cricketer Ben Stokes will return to competitive cricket for Durham in the One-Day Cup on July 21, his first 50-over match since the 2023 ODI World Cup. After retiring from international cricket, he said he enjoys playing for Durham again. Stokes has also decided to skip this season's The Hundred tournament.
