India captain Shubman Gill retired hurt during the first ODI against England last night after suffering a muscle cramp in his right leg while batting fluently. Despite receiving on-field treatment from the team physio, the discomfort forced him to walk back to the dressing room. The BCCI has not yet confirmed whether Gill will be fit for remaining two ODIs.
