After recent heavy rains, Maharashtra is witnessing rising temperatures due to a dry spell. The IMD has forecast light to moderate rainfall in parts of the state today and issued yellow alerts for Thane, Raigad, Nashik, Ghatmatha, and Ahilyanagar. Light rain is likely in Mumbai, Palghar, Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg, Dhule, Nandurbar, and Jalgaon districts.
