The Karnataka government has allowed hotels and restaurants in Bengaluru to remain open until 3:30 a.m. on July 14, 15 and 19 for late-night FIFA World Cup match screenings. Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar approved the temporary relaxation after requests from restaurant associations, while stressing public safety, law and order, and responsible celebrations.
