India is observing a one-day national mourning today, July 13, to honour Qatar's Father Amir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani, who passed away at 74. As a mark of respect, the national flag will fly at half-mast across the country. The Ministry of External Affairs announced that official entertainment programmes will not be held during the mourning period.
