Telangana Civil Supplies officials seized 28 tonnes of PDS rice being smuggled from Karimnagar to Maharashtra in a lorry intercepted at Naspur on Friday night. The rice and vehicle were handed over for inquiry. Officials suspect fair price shop dealers and beneficiaries may be involved in the smuggling network.
