The National Investigation Agency will file a chargesheet against separatist leader Shabir Ahmad Shah in a 1996 Srinagar violence case. The agency alleges he led a mob during a terrorist’s funeral procession that attacked police, damaged public property and spread unrest. Shah has been charged under the UAPA, Arms Act and several criminal provisions.
