A 69-year-old Tamil Nadu man, Bingson John, was arrested for defrauding over 300 luxury hotels across India since 1990. Inspired by Charles Sobhraj, he used fake identities, stayed for days, then left without paying. His latest target was Raipur's Hyatt, where he also stole a laptop. He was arrested in Bhubaneswar within 72 hours and reportedly spent 15 years in prison.
