ICRISAT Director General Dr Himanshu Pathak advised farmers to grow climate-resilient crops like pulses, oilseeds and millets due to the El Nino impact. He urged them to avoid water-intensive crops such as paddy and choose short-duration crops. He also stressed the importance of quality seeds and healthy soil for sustainable farming.
