IMD Plans New Doppler Radar For Hyderabad

The IMD plans to install a new X-band Doppler Weather Radar in Hyderabad to improve weather forecasting. The department is looking for land, and installation will begin after Telangana allots the site. The new radar will provide high-resolution weather data and work with the existing S-band radar for better forecasts.
