Maharashtra To Legalise Bike-Taxis From August 1

Maharashtra will legalise app-based bike-taxis from August 1 under new rules. Drivers must have a Maharashtra domicile certificate, licence, badge and register with approved aggregators. The government says the policy will regulate services, create jobs for locals, improve driver welfare and generate revenue through ride fees and welfare fund contributions.
