A Delhi court on Saturday rejected the bail pleas of Umar Khalid and Sharjeel Imam in the 2020 Delhi riots larger conspiracy case. The decision came after Delhi Police opposed their applications. The case is being investigated under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA), and both accused will continue to remain in judicial custody.
