The IMD has forecast widespread rainfall, thunderstorms and heavy downpours across the country today, July 4. States including Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Bihar, Gujarat and the Konkan region may see intense monsoon activity. Orange alerts have been issued for parts of Himachal Pradesh, including Kullu, Mandi, Shimla and Sirmaur.
