Andhra Pradesh has prepared a proposal to establish 3 new police commissionerates by upgrading Tirupati, Guntur, and Rajahmundry. The AP DGP has instructed the SPs of the respective districts to submit detailed proposals within 15 days. These reports will cover jurisdiction boundaries, and the creation of new police wings needed for the commissionerates.
